I heard someone at work mention someone being "stoned on her wedding day". I was...inspired.

I really like how Dracaena looks in a wedding dress, even though it's very hard to imagine the little dragon girl ever getting married. I suspect this isn't the last we'll see of Bridal Drac.

I could probably come up with a short story for this, but.....nah.

WHoa, so WAS not expecting that to happen. Nice. Im sitting there going, stoned...she's not stoned. The effect of stoning does look a bit choppy thou imo, but it could be my comp I do not know.

That's amazing! I sorta jumped the first time the stone came up, I wasn't expecting movement. Very cool.

Whoooa, I was soooo not expecting her to be actually "STONED," i was expecting, like... a woman in a wedding dress getting really high. XD But I like this idea much better (obviously), so I love it. ^__^

This was done in Photoshop and Ulead Gif Animator. I drew the first frame in PS and then repainted it in a stone pattern to make the last frame. I put the "fully stone" picture on a layer above the "fully alive" picture, then I just gradually erased pieces of the "stone" picture to get the in-betweens. This resulted in the animation playing backwards (as if she were coming back to life) and then I just reversed the order in the Gif Animator.
