This is a sum-up of Fate/Stay Night Episode 19. This is the first F/SN fancomic I ever did, and it's considerably beneath the others in terms of art quality, but I'm still putting it in the same section.
In F/SN, magical entities known as Servants, summoned by human Masters, fight each other in a secret battle for possession of the Holy Grail. Most of the Masters are mages; Shirou Emiya, the slow-witted hero of our story, starts out as a lousy mage, but he somehow manages to summon a great Servant, codenamed Saber. Saber's secret identity is King Arturia, or a female version of King Arthur. (Originally Saber was going to be a male character, but the artist who designed her decided that he wanted to draw a girl with armor, and so Saber became a very short cute girl.)
In this pivotal episode, two evil Servants get wiped out. The first is Assassin, whose true identity is Kojirou Sasaki, a mythical samurai of...some renown. He is best known as the rival of Musashi Miyamoto, about whom several animes and mangas have been written (some much better than others, lol). In F/SN, Assassin makes a big deal out of the fact that Kojirou Sasaki may never have existed. I find that extremely weird, since...all the other Servants are based on fictional characters, too, and they never make light of it. o_O
Assassin's Master is Caster (a.k.a. the witch Medea from Greek mythology), who incidentally is also a Servant. As a mage, Caster is the only Servant who can summon a Servant for herself...but unfortunately, as a direct result of her being a Servant, she can only summon half-baked Servants like Mr. Sasaki. See, there are a number of mythical figures who can be summoned under the title of Assassin, just as there are probably a few different potential Casters and Sabers and so forth out there. And Kojirou is one of the crappier Assassins. Poor guy.
Caster's Master here is a very lanky fellow named Souichirou Kuzuki, but for the longest time I just couldn't remember his name, so I called him Kung-Fu Psycho. He's not a mage at all; he's not even Caster's original Master (Caster, being a bit of a treacherous sort, killed the person who summoned her originally). He's just an antisocial martial-arts maniac who Caster happened to fall head over heels in love with. With help from Caster's enchantments, Souichirou can punch through steel. He's hardcore.
The "Heretofore Unknown Character" is a Servant summoned under the codename Archer, but he prefers to be called by his real name, Gilgamesh. You'll see plenty of him in the other comics. :3 He looks rather heroic here, as he rains swords on the evil Caster and Souichirou...but really, as you'll see, he's even more out of his mind than they are.
There are two different Archers who appear in F/SN, and both of them have super-moves that involve spamming a TON of swords. Gilgamesh's version is known as the Gates of Babylon, while the other Archer's version is called Unlimited Blade Works. Initially, I thought that BOTH of them were called Unlimited Blade Works, so in this comic you see a couple UBW references. "I am the bone of my sword" is the (unintentionally hilarious) first line of UBW's incantation.
I was looking for Kuzuki and Caster's fanarts and look what I find!!!! XDDD
Kung-fu freak rocked man xDDDDD Caster's last question too, the funny thing is that I couldn't stop crying when I saw it in the anime, and seeing it right now I can't stop laughing... XDD
